The Horables
The Horables play the celebratory dance music of Eastern European Jews, as well as Gypsy dance tunes and some Django style jazz. Rachel Sheinin (violin) Conny Nowe (mandolin) Rachel Melas (accordion and guitar) and Michael Kaler (upright bass) bring the music to life with thoughtful arrangements and a few tongue in cheek juxtapositions. The Horables have been playing Klezmer music together for about 5 years, at festivals, cafes, concerts and farmers markets. They released their CD "No Shirt No Shoes No Tsuris" in 2012.
